As the Prep Cook you will…. - Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible. - Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking. - Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep. - Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes. - Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly. - Complete opening and closing checklists. - Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area in all areas of the prep kitchen. - Assist with cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas as needed. - Follow proper sanitation procedures and health regulations. - Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen and dining area. - Complete any and all opening and closing duties in a timely manner. Organizational Awareness - Having and using knowledge of systems, situations, procedures, and culture inside the organization to identify potential problems and opportunities, perceiving the impact and the implications of decisions on other components of the organization. Work Environment - A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking. - Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and kitchen personnel. - Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours). - Physical stamina and dexterity to stand, bend, lift, and move around the kitchen for extended periods of time and frequently lift up to 40 pounds. - Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent team spirit with a customer-focused attitude. - Flexible to work in shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. --- SALARY & BENEFITS - $16- $20, Depending on Experience - Weekly Pay!
